The dapper capitano, who gives the weather on the RAI-TV morning show, Buona Mattina, said we are due for several days of uninterrupted sunshine. Well, it is about time! And so, not to miss the opportunity of this Good Weather, and in light of a hefty consignment of over 50 plants of various blooms & foliage, I am off to Codiponte today to get cracking on creating a green barrier just inside the the garden stone-wall around Il Poggiolo. We are looking a bit nude since the stone mason/gardner eradicated the perimeter wall of its prickly roving vines... along with everything else.... dammit! I must deal with filling in for the "everything else" while the going is good. Gads.
