I O.D.-ed on blackened Chestnut last night. Then, I opened the Spectator Magazine and what hit me? Red Geranium & Ochre & Pink & Purple... Aubergine to Dr. You... in an 18th Century English family portrait. So, I have taken matters in hand and have decided to put my original choices in a dead-heat to see which will survive the elimination. Here goes, first for the Cucina/Sala da Pranzo/Zona di Seduta...

Walls in Red Geranium
Cabinets, silos & shelving in a weird Olive... though I might have it splattered with other colors
Floors in terra-cotta
Window mouldings in OSLBlue-Grey
or...
Walls in an Ochre
Cabinets, silos & shelving in Orange
Floors in terra-cotta
Window mouldings in OSLBlue-Grey
and, for Dr. You, who just called to remind me of his desire for a Richard Ginori Green in the Kitchen. So...

Walls in Richard Ginori Green... a true R.G. Green is deeper, richer, brighter and not so Granny Apple.
Cabinets, silos & shelving in God-Knows-What, thank you so very much!!!
Floors in terra-cotta
Window mouldings in OSLBlue-Grey

I could live with this last one. However, Life would be simpler, at this point, if My Hearts-strings weren't tugged by an array of Industrial Greys to Black.
Now, for My Bedroom, cleverly disguised as il Salotto/Studio/Gallery...

Walls in Aubergine
Floors in terra-cotta
Window mouldings in OSLBlue-grey
or...
Walls in Blue-blue-blue
Floors in terra-cotta
Window mouldings in OSLBlue-grey

Enough damage done there. Onwards to the Bathroom!!!

Walls in Pink... only if the Cucina is Red Geranium. If it goes R.G. Green then, the Bath will be in Red Geranium or Ochre. Got that?
Fixtures in White... and, God Bless too!!!
Floors in terra-cotta
Window mouldings in OSLBlue-grey

Do I need to summarize? One Color Palette for the walls is...

Red Geranium
Aubergine
Pink
and the other is...
R.G. Green
Blue-blue-blue
Red Geranium or Ochre

Oh, Lord! I forgot. The Entrance Hallway? Do I have to start all over again? Gads.
