Another Color Marathon with Dr. You last evening. We eventually managed to go out for a pizza next door at the astounding hour of 9:45PM... 15 minutes past You's Normal Fall-asleep-in-front-of-the-TV Hour!!! Before stomach pains overcame us, we bounced, pivoted... careened... from one paint manufacturer to another on My Mac.
I think Benjamin Moore has the niftiest site. 100s of graduated blocks of colors from the primaries down to those chic tones of Taupe-ad-infinitum. Just STOP at a tiny color block and up pops an enlargement for a deeper perusal. If not to your liking, click back & you are still in zona to find a lighter, darker, bluer, greener, yellower whatever. Great!
Dr. You's Modus Operandi is to command me to type in any old name... spoiled rotten by those fleets of nurses before a computer... in the Google Search Window, which might conjure up something colorful... like Teal, for cryin' out loud!!!... hit IMAGES as soon as something gels on the screen, and then, scroll down to an adventurous array of whatever in all its myriad manifestations. The innumerable boxes gives me the idea that Google brutally raped every interior design website, book & magazine on the Internet. Anyway, Dr. You is often lucky. In fact, it's how we found the above color!!! The very same color photograph was found on Page 94 in Our Perennial Inspiration for Colors used for the entire il Poggiolo complex, the wonderful book entitled... Living in Argentina... by Taschen. Proves my earlier Point too. As for Argentina... Whatever works!!!... is what I always say.
So, I am am due to set-off for the paint store. My Future destined for the coming Paint Trials. Gads.
