Winter Water...

That funny altar thingy-ma-jigger on the right & below the three down-trodden looking terra-cotta planters is our neighborhood's communal water source. The pipes that feed it run underneath The Garden of Il Poggiolo. Do I get any break on my water bills for this? Certainly not. The Italians are vicious with Eminent Domain, etc. 

This faucet is where I now must wash my hands and fill buckets of water to flush my toilette. Well, hopefully, these water-runs will end later in the afternoon after the above-ground plastic water tube, which supplies La Casetta with fresh water, has had a chance to thaw-out from the Beneficial Rays of the sun, Thank God!!!
It is conveniently located. I exit from La Casetta, go left down the ramp along the sad planters, trying not to trip down the weird maize of stairs and... Ecco!... water!!! Bless All the Water Gods for this. Gads.
